Serva e Padrona (2003)

The film centers on three young women confined to a house, constantly observed by the camera. We see them in the kitchen, a bathroom, and a bare living room as they spend an evening together. The three women are the mistress and her servants, adapting from Genet's *Les Bonnes*. The servants subtly plot a rebellion against their mistress, while she maintains an air of authority without issuing direct commands, yet remains undeniably admired. Each woman embraces the role that best suits her personality.
