Description:
Orphaned at a young age and raised by his gambler father in Kumamoto, Kyushu, Ryuko's world is shattered when her father is murdered by a stranger. At eighteen, she breaks ties with her yakuza family and journeys across the country seeking revenge, armed only with the wallet left by the killer. Five years later, known as the defiant and courageous "Red Peony Oryu" – marked by a red peony tattoo – she encounters Katagiri, a fellow gambler; Kumatora, a family boss in Shikoku; and Otaka, the female boss of the Doman Family in Osaka. With their assistance, she finally confronts the man responsible for her father's death.
