Description:
The black kite, often called "the eagle" in Taiwan, was once abundant and a familiar sight, even featured in a popular children's game. Now, it's incredibly rare. SHEN Zhen-zhong, known as "Mr. Kite," has dedicated 20 years to protecting this endangered bird, traveling across Taiwan to uncover the reasons for its decline. From 1992 to 2015, filmmaker LIANG Chieh-te documented Mr. Kite's journey. The film reveals how one person can passionately dedicate themselves to a cause out of love, transcending the boundaries between species and unwavering in their commitment.
