The Sacha Guitry Affair (2007)

On August 23, 1944, as Paris was liberated, acclaimed playwright Sacha Guitry was arrested in his apartment. Accused of collaborating with the enemy, the author of popular plays like "My Father was Right," "Let's Make a Dream," and "Quadrille," and director of the Théâtre de la Madeleine, was held captive for sixty days. His detention involved transfers from a depot to the Vel' d'hiv', then to Drancy, and finally to Fresnes Prison.
