Save My Speech (2015)

This film tells the story of the poet Osip Mandelstam, blending puppet theater, design, computer graphics, and documentary filmmaking. Mandelstam's defiant poetry challenged the ruling powers, leading to his destruction by the state; he died in a transit camp. His work survived only because his wife, Nadezhda, memorized and painstakingly transcribed it, preserving it for a future when it could be shared.
