Description:
A lonely king, known for his selfishness, asks his three daughters to declare how much they love him. When one daughter replies she loves him "more than salt," he angrily banishes her. Unable to grasp her meaning, the king believes love can only be measured by wealth or talent – the responses of his other two daughters. His arrogance leads him to order all the kingdom's salt destroyed, a decision that has unforeseen consequences. With the help of a wise, magical woman, the king eventually discovers the true value of his daughter’s words and learns what it truly means to be a just ruler.
