Description:

Queen's Christmas Eve 1975 performance at the Hammersmith Odeon is renowned as one of their finest early recordings, full of energy and excitement. It took place a month after their album *A Night At The Opera* topped the charts and was filmed for the BBC's *Old Grey Whistle Test* with Bob Harris. While the majority of the show was captured on tape, the BBC cameras were switched off when Queen returned to the stage for an encore, playing additional songs. This extended performance was not filmed and has remained unseen for thirty-five years.
