Decision (2012)

Director Pushpa Rawat examines her inner circle – close female friends, a former boyfriend and his family, and her own family – through intimate interviews and conversations. She explores difficult topics like caste, personal choices, freedom, happiness, and the need for compromise, while also reflecting on these questions herself. *Nirnay* was created in partnership with Anupama Srinivasan, a documentary filmmaker and director of the IAWRT Asian Women’s Film Festival.
