A Traveler’s Memory: Jeonju Digital Project 2011 (2011)

A violinist's suicide, witnessed by his neighbors, triggers a journey into the jungles of Guyana and Suriname. The film follows the pursuit of notorious gold miners. This is a sequel to 'Mauris Barres', directed by Jean-Marie Straub, who explores Mont Saint-Eudil. Straub, a proponent of cinema as a physical art form, collaborates with Claire Denis, known for her boundary-crossing narratives and encounters with diverse people.
