Münafık (2015)

In 1984 Soviet Union, Valeria studies parapsychology at a laboratory. Her former lover, Nazım, asks her to Turkey to investigate a strange case. Valeria travels to Nalbant Village in Azdavay to study Nazife Hanım, known locally as "Cinli Nazife," and begins her research. Then, Valeria vanishes without a trace. Nazife Hanım has had a stroke, and Nazım has become mentally unstable. Thirty years later, Ceyda, a pregnant woman, arrives at the village with her husband and child – the child her grandmother abandoned. As Ceyda goes into labor, the village's hidden secrets begin to surface.
