Description:
During a sleepless night online, Sadie realizes her concerns about drifting apart from her best friend since seventh grade are true when he unfollows her on Instagram. For her seventeenth birthday, her mother gives her a year-long public transit pass, encouraging her to explore and find new experiences nearby. While exploring downtown, Sadie meets Miami, a self-described teeny-bopper and the first openly transgender girl at North Shore Private Girls College. Miami introduces Sadie to her friends: Cynthia, a straight musical theatre enthusiast; Zeke, an angsty emo boyfriend; Ellen, a lesbian who loves astrology; and Jersey, a bisexual high school dropout. Sadie begins spending time with this group, but will she truly find where she belongs, or will past insecurities and drama complicate things?
