Pitstop (2007)

Twelve-year-old Maggie, quiet and observant, feels overlooked amidst her large, boisterous family during a desert road trip in their old Pontiac. To escape her loneliness, she finds solace in the captivating world she sees through her camera's lens. However, doubting the worth of her images, she never actually takes any pictures. When the family stops at a remote gas station, Maggie's feeling of invisibility deepens when she's accidentally left behind. There, she encounters June, the weathered and isolated owner, who unexpectedly becomes a significant influence on Maggie’s journey to discover her own voice.
