Description:
The October 1943 revolt at Sobibór extermination camp is a pivotal moment in the fight against Nazism. Thomas "Toivi" Blatt, a 15-year-old son of a Jewish businessman, was deported to Sobibór. He survived the uprising and escaped, only to discover that his newfound freedom was complicated by the lack of assistance from fellow Jews. Director Peter Nestler accompanies Toivi Blatt on his journeys through Poland.
