Only the Way (2008)

Only the Way is a rare Hong Kong film inspired by Buddhism, from director Tang Tak Wing. It tells the story of a troubled man whose life changes through Buddhist teachings. Starring Cheung Kwok Keung of *The Pye-Dog* and Moon Lee, the film offers thoughtful observations on life with a gentle perspective. Cheung Kwok Keung plays a struggling songwriter whose misfortunes mount: his girlfriend leaves him, his career falters, and his mother passes away. These setbacks fuel his bitterness until he meets a Temple Street vendor (Tong Zhen) who introduces him to Buddhism.
