Redgrass Sand (2001)

RED GRASS SAND, set in the late 1950s following Japan's occupation of China, explores a man's relentless ambition for power. The story begins in 1941 with Commander Dor, who gathers donations from his community, intending to keep them hidden at Red Beach. Fifteen years later, he returns with plans to reclaim power, only to discover the area is now inhabited by people who are far from welcoming.
