The Flying Scotsman (2000)

The Flying Scotsman, a renowned British train, travels the 393 miles from King's Cross to Edinburgh in just over four hours, averaging 94.3 miles per hour. The journey features the departure from King's Cross through tunnels, the busy Welwyn bottleneck, the Newark flat crossing, the new Selby line, and Stoke bank, where the "Mallard" set the world speed record for steam traction. The film also offers a look inside the A4 engine at the National Railway Museum in York. The second part of the journey from York to Edinburgh includes a stop in Newcastle.
