Kill Octopus Paul (2010)

Originally titled "The Legend of World Cup," director Xiao Jiang renamed the film after the octopus Paul gained worldwide fame for correctly predicting the results of every Germany game and the World Cup final. Xiao Jiang explained they had considered various themes, including unexpected outcomes, predictions, gambling, errors in judgment, terrorism, and football hooliganism, but decided to focus on the prediction aspect when Paul became a sensation. The filmmakers have invited Paul, the German octopus, to the film's premiere in China. The octopus in the movie is an actor who resembles Paul.
