Description:

The local police constables, Bigbelly and Stronglass, are thrilled when they win a week-long summer vacation at a rented cottage – a week of peace! Their excitement turns to surprise when they discover the cottage is right next door to another. To maintain their anonymity, the constables must pretend to be someone else: the artistic Rubens brothers. But their disguise proves successful with Mother Kattilakoski. However, Hayflower and Quiltshoe are suspicious of the Rubens brothers, convinced they're actually escaped bandits. The girls decide to uncover the truth.
