Description:
Kaccha Limbu, set in 1980s India, follows Mr. Katdare and his wife Shaileja as they navigate life with their 16-year-old son, Bacchu, who is struggling with growing up and his identity – a source of worry for the family, especially Shaileja. While Mr. Katdare works night shifts at the telegraph office, Shaileja is employed by a private firm. Seeking solace from their difficulties, Mr. Katdare turns to thoughts of death, while Shaileja finds herself increasingly drawn to her kind boss, Mr. Pandit. The film explores how this couple, facing overwhelming challenges, fights to regain stability and reconnect, offering a heartwarming story of resilience, symbolized by the term "Kaccha Limbu," meaning the underdog.
