Description:
Tatsuru Sawada, a cameraman's assistant, feels his life is stagnant. Seeking change, he joins the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers but disrupts training with his rebellious attitude, often clashing with Kazunari Hamura and breaking rules. Assigned to the Philippines with Shiho Nomura, Tatsuru and Kazunari’s conflict continues. While on assignment in Baguio, Tatsuru encounters Noel and his sister Angela, deepening his concern for the country's situation. Overwhelmed, he returns to Japan. Eight years later, Tatsuru and Kazunari reunite in the Tōhoku region following the devastating earthquake and tsunami.
