In 1948, a young man, a boy, and a waiter are mesmerized by a woman in a lilac dress under the full moon. This encounter has lasting consequences, affecting over 80 characters—a DJ, a fairy princess, a gangster, Alexander Pushkin, and even a nostalgic dog. The film blurs the line between dreams and reality as director Shakhnazarov examines the relationship between past and present in this captivating and ultimately rewarding exploration of humanity.
