Description:
After major political changes, developing nations have ceased exporting raw materials. This triggers an economic crisis in the West, quickly impacting Norway. Unemployment surges, and food becomes scarce. While the government denies the severity of the situation, widespread fear takes hold, leading to daily clashes between citizens and police. Thomas and Vera are among the unemployed. Their only option is to leave the city and rent a deserted farm. Food sales are outlawed, and the military begins seizing remaining supplies. Eventually, city dwellers join the exodus to the countryside, desperate for food.
