Description:
Eight months after the One Year War, Captain Monica initiates a secret mission, "Operation Thunderbolt." She chooses Io to pilot the Atlas Gundam and leads the assault landing ship Spartan into waters controlled by the South Seas Alliance. Their goal: secure or destroy data on the Psycho Zaku, now in the Alliance's possession. Daryl, who previously fought Io, has returned to Earth with remnants of Zeon, tasked with finding information about the Psycho Zaku. He joins the conflict alongside his forces, where Io encounters Commander Peer, the South Seas Alliance's border garrison commander. Mobile suits from Zeon, the Federation, and the South Seas Alliance clash across the sea, ice fields, and jungles. The war continues.
