Pâté (2001)

This is a dark story about a wealthy family trying to survive after the world ends. In a desolate landscape, two young children, Otto and Vera, search for food every day. Back in an abandoned ship, their mother lives in a fantasy of her past aristocratic life, supported by a lazy maid. Haunted by memories and the past, their lives are a sad reflection of what was, as each person deals with the struggle to survive. The only other survivor, a sinister man named Griswald, unexpectedly arrives for dinner, triggering an event that reveals a shocking truth about their survival.
