Looking for Fidel (2006)

Disillusioned by American media and consumer culture, a man travels to Cuba seeking to meet Fidel Castro and find revolution and socialism. He envisions a better future for all. Instead, he encounters a Cuba far removed from his expectations: a place marked by nostalgia, sadness, weariness under strict control, and a stifling lack of free expression – a difficult human reality existing apart from its political ideals.
