Description:

It's 1850, and Karl Marx, Europe's most notorious terrorist, is living in poverty in London's Soho district. The 32-year-old revolutionary is struggling with money, boredom, and desire. A brilliant thinker with a sharp wit and a tendency towards emotional awkwardness, he's pursued by creditors, spies, political rivals, and those interested in his wife. With his writing stalled, his marriage failing, and his friend Friedrich Engels worried about his potential, Marx clings to a job on the railway as his only hope.
