Description:
This film is a tribute to Gaza and the potential for hope amidst despair. Using the ouroboros – the symbol of a snake eating its tail, representing both end and beginning, death and rebirth – the 74-minute experimental narrative transforms the destruction of Gaza into a story of sorrow. It explores the essence of humanity in the face of failure. Presented as a love story, the film follows Diego Marcon on a cyclical journey to confront his pain, repeatedly experiencing it. Over the course of one day, his travels blend together landscapes from Native American territories, Matera, a castle in Brittany, and the ruins of Gaza.
