This film explores the idea of everything being interconnected, examining the relationship between history and the present, and between tools and objects. It weaves together images of two buildings in the Portland area with deep ties to the Chinookan people who originally lived there, alongside recordings of one of the last speakers of chinuk wawa, the Chinookan language. The film suggests that these places cannot be simply categorized as objects, and instead calls for us to embrace wandering and shared purpose.
