Description:
Playwright Felix Webb is rehearsing his new play, 'The Hit Man,' with his friend Humphrey directing. The play is already being called a masterpiece, but Felix is struggling with his own happiness. He's deeply in love with Hilary, a vibrant young actress, and plans to leave his wife Elena and their three children. Things get complicated when Humphrey casts Hilary in a leading role. Then Robin Grange arrives – a charming, handsome Hollywood actor making his London theatre debut. He quickly charms the cast and realizes Felix’s problem, beginning to stir up trouble. He suggests seducing Elena, believing it would distract her from Felix's affair, help her regain her self-respect, and potentially lead to a separation from Felix.
