Description:
Following his uncle Olivier's death, his estate – a small chateau in Provence and the town’s only funeral home located in the cellar – is inherited equally by his stepson André Vidal, who has managed the funeral home since Olivier’s semi-retirement due to illness, and his German cousin, Charlotte, a business consultant from Frankfort. She arrives to sell the property, capitalizing on the high demand for idyllic hospitality locations. André is dismayed, resolved to protect the town's traditions and his uncle's legacy, especially since Charlotte doesn't even remember him as a childhood friend. He discovers she plans to exploit unpaid taxes, but the charm of the town and its peaceful atmosphere begin to sway the pragmatic Charlotte.
