Description:
Chiranjit and Bubai are two young transgender friends from Kolkata who grew up facing societal prejudice. Their shared experiences strengthened their friendship. Bubai, often mistreated by his family, longs for love and acceptance. He finds happiness with a boy, only to be rejected for a girl. Chiranjit, relatively accepted by his parents but struggling to find work, feels isolated. In 2009, they join Manas Bangla, an organization promoting LGBT rights and HIV awareness, where they work to encourage testing among young people. As time passes, Bubai finds a new boyfriend and happiness, while Chiranjit receives a promotion and becomes Bubai's boss. These changes in their lives and careers create distance, and they eventually stop speaking.
