Jep and Shuaib, two somewhat lazy sons, are often up late and rarely assist with housework. One night, witnessing their father's grief over his unfulfilled promise to build a memorial for his deceased wife, they resolve to earn money for him by taking on various jobs in their village. While helping a woman named Dara dry fabric, they encounter Elly, Dara’s beautiful daughter, and Jep begins to develop a romantic interest in her.
