Videsi Nair Swadesi Nair (2002)

Vindhyan, an unemployed man from the countryside, is in love with his childhood friend and cousin, Neelima, who is living in the US. Her father, Rajappan Nair, a wealthy businessman, promises Vindhyan that he will marry them both. However, Neelima is in love with Shivapal, whom she met in the US. After returning, an astrologer warns her that her first husband will die soon after the wedding. Neelima decides to marry Vindhyan, believing it will fulfill the prophecy. With the help of Shivapal and her mother, Padmavathi, Neelima plots to have Vindhyan killed.
