Description:
In the quiet town of Orton Creek, a fraternity initiation gone wrong results in the accidental death of David Farmer at the hands of Don Curran, son of the town's powerful figure, Will Curran. To cover up the incident, the fraternity members frame Frank Govers, an electronics salesman, for a hit-and-run. Determined to uncover the truth, new Sheriff Ralph Baker and his love interest Jo Westlake investigate. Govers and his girlfriend Lee Ann Hadley take refuge in a hunting cabin but are captured by escaped convicts Mick August and Merlin Wells, who tragically electrocutes himself after being tricked by Govers. August attempts to collect the reward money from Will Curran, but Sheriff Baker is close behind.
