Description:

Hoover Nielbold, a teenager obsessed with cars, tries to win over the school's most popular girl by taking her for a ride in a high-performance race car belonging to Big Bubba Jones, a local racer. Hoover's father, Harry, the town sheriff, is furious and instructs his deputies to find him. As concerned parents and citizens flood the Sheriff's office, and the deputies fail to make a capture, Harry enlists Jones and other racers to help. The story ends with an exciting car chase across the countryside.
