The first year at Honcho Junior High is unsettling as students experience strange occurrences. While visiting her teacher for a minor injury, Miyuki has a vision of a sad girl in an old-fashioned uniform. Simultaneously, students rush to the office reporting that another student, Mizudani Sachie, has fainted in the girls' bathroom, near the rumored haunt of a young girl. Sachie is hospitalized and later wakes with no memory of the event. However, upon returning to school, Sachie appears to know details about the future misfortunes of her classmates, including how they will die or be seriously injured.
