Rice Paper Stars (2000)

During a wedding reception at a gaudy disco, the bride, Kelly Marie (Jenny McCrindle), is heartbroken after her husband leaves her for someone else. Seeking solace in the ladies' room, she attempts to remove her wedding ring. Her mother Lulu (Karen Dunbar), aunt Ruby (Jan Wilson), and friend Gracie (Kay Galle) follow, but their attempts at comfort prove unhelpful. A tipsy girl named Adele (Jenny Foulds) stumbles in, collapses, and loses consciousness before speaking. As the others try to revive her, Kelly Marie calls for an ambulance, forcing her to confront her own troubles. This film uses the crisis to highlight Kelly Marie's emotional state.
