Description:
This series of television portraits explores the lives of four diverse people who share a living space. Filmed over eight years in the tenement where I lived, the short films were shot in the bedroom – which also served as my former partner's office – and in identical spaces owned by my neighbors. Shot and edited entirely on a 16mm Bolex camera using only natural light, the films offer reflections on the individuals and how they interact within these shared environments.
