Description:
Gabrielle is creating an illustrated sex guide called 'How To Do It.' At a book signing, she meets Saul, a successful male writer who is heterosexual. She both admires and resents his work, which has influenced her secular Jewish upbringing. As Gabrielle discusses her book with him, Saul becomes increasingly interested in her life – her relationship with Olivia, her girlfriend, and her personal conviction to redefine sex. Is Saul driven by jealousy or desire as Gabrielle's book takes shape? Their friendship and Gabrielle’s relationship with Olivia are challenged. The film explores the process of writing and drawing, and the power of narratives to shape our actions.
