Description:
Avanti Singh lives in an Indian village with her sons Dharam and Govinda, and a married daughter. Dharam marries Pavitra, who has a twin sister, Geeta, who falls for Govinda, a fellow student. Pavitra is courted by Dhaneshwar, a wealthy landowner and politician, but she rejects him. Govinda and Pavitra have a close bond, and Dharam suspects an affair. Arguments erupt, and Govinda leaves home. He returns to find Avanti had stopped Dhaneshwar from assaulting Pavitra, but Dharam, seeking revenge, was killed. Enraged, Govinda tries to kill Dhaneshwar but mistakenly kills someone else and is arrested. With Dharam dead and Govinda imprisoned, Dhaneshwar takes advantage to assault Pavitra. Who will avenge them now?
