Education of Love (1961)

Lin Ching Yi, a young woman from a middle-class background, reluctantly becomes the substitute teacher for her ill father, who teaches a class of lively third graders from working-class families. The students prove to be more challenging than she expected. However, Lin develops a close bond with them and begins to understand the hardships they face at home. Her empathetic colleague, Kit Chang, offers support and becomes a potential romantic interest. As Lin grows closer to her students and the school, she embraces the opportunity to help her community through education, while also discovering love.
