Description:
Dika worries about his father, Drajat (46), who is acting strangely and frighteningly. Dika’s cousin, Bella (20), who helps care for Drajat, is nearly killed after being mistaken for someone deceased. Drajat's unusual behavior started after his cigarette factory failed. Dika accidentally finds photographs of Drajat with a grandfather at Mount Kawi. Further evidence suggests Drajat has become involved in pesugihan, a practice based at Mount Kawi. After talking with Bella, Dika decides to investigate Mount Kawi for answers. He brings friends there to seek out Mbah Kawi, and they invite Jono Kawat, the school security guard, who claims to have worked selling crackers at Mount Kawi.
