Description:
In Iran, Afghan immigrant Nasim's wife is seriously ill, and he desperately needs money for her treatment. His work digging wells doesn't provide enough. A friend connects him with a shady promoter who offers a way to earn money: riding a bicycle continuously for a week. The promoter draws in crowds of sick and elderly people, encouraging them to see hope in Nasim's endurance. With his son's help, feeding him as he rides, Nasim pushes through days and freezing nights. Local authorities suspect a scheme and try to disrupt the event, as do those betting against Nasim completing the week. Will desperation be enough to secure the funds he needs? And is any victory truly real?
