Description:

Journalist John Royer returns to the U.S. shortly after the start of World War II. He claims he can easily smuggle rubber from Malaya, a vital wartime resource, and is put in charge of the operation. Royer arranges for Carnaghan, an old acquaintance recently released from Alcatraz, to join him. They travel to Southeast Asia posing as Irishmen. There, Carnaghan gathers his former associates, and together with Royer and some plantation owners, they devise a plan to smuggle rubber out of the region while evading the Japanese military.
