Trans (2003)

Working with Martin Siewert, we used the traditional five-act structure of drama to create a feeling of being suspended between worlds. Old photographs of a harbor perfectly captured this mood – the sadness and melancholy of farewell. I started with those images, gradually refining them, removing anything extra until I arrived at the core of the story.
