This documentary recounts the sinking of the Britannic during World War I, exploring how it met a similar end to its sister ship, the Titanic. Built stronger after the Titanic disaster, the Britannic still sank in just 55 minutes in 1916, three times faster than the Titanic. On its 100th anniversary, Kate Humble and Andy Torbet investigate exactly what happened during those critical minutes. Andy makes a risky dive to the wreck, while Kate interviews descendants of those who survived. The film features stories of Violet Jessops, who survived both Titanic and Britannic; Captain Bartlett, nicknamed "Iceberg Charlie"; and lookout Archie Jewell, who miraculously lived when others perished.
