Description:
Berlin pensioner Paul Krüger is planning to walk his pregnant granddaughter Annie down the aisle. However, her Turkish groom’s uncle insists that Annie’s biological father, Harald, must be present, a condition based on Anatolian family tradition – a father she never knew about, and whose existence her mother kept secret. Harald reportedly moved to Greece, so Paul brings his friends Ecki and Bernd along for a search in a country they don't know well. Armed with an old photograph, they mistakenly land on the wrong island, causing trouble for a local family. After correcting their mistake, they stumble into a German free sex commune. They later discover Harald is now a monk in a monastery, observing strict silence but not fasting. He’s unwilling to return home until Paul enlists reluctant assistance, and even then, the monk isn't joining their flight back.
