Description:
This action-packed story features three of Daiei Film's biggest stars. Vice-Shogun Mito Komon journeys to the land of the Ainu, a region where he seeks to address corruption and injustice. He travels with his loyal bodyguards, Kaku and Suke, to the northern island of Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido), home to the Ainu people. Similar to Native Americans, the Ainu maintain their distinct culture, resisting control by the Matsumae clan. A revolt is developing among the Ainu leaders, threatening their peaceful existence. Mito and his men are the only ones who can prevent widespread destruction.
