Wild Faith (2017)

Emmett Murphy, a Civil War veteran seeking peace in his Michigan home, finds his life changed by loss. Keeping a promise to a dying comrade, he welcomes Haddie, a Negro widow, and her daughter to live with him and his son. The community resists this unconventional family, and a scheme to force them away begins. Battling prejudice and isolation, Emmett grapples with his faith. However, the arrival of a traveling circus brings an unforeseen opportunity that could save his family.
