Description:
In the archipelago, Vesterman catches a young seal and gives it to Tjorven, who names it Moses. Peter Malm, a researcher from Uppsala, wants to buy Moses, but Tjorven refuses. Desperate for money, Vesterman tries to persuade Tjorven to sell. The children hide Moses to keep him safe. When Pelle's rabbit Jocke and Söderman's lamb are found dead, the dog Båtsman is blamed, leading to a tragic decision by Tjorven's father. Fortunately, Söderman discovers a fox was responsible. Peter Malm then withdraws his offer to buy Moses, leaving the seal with Tjorven and the children.
